Emoji Cafe
Emoji Cafe is an installation of curious objects. Everything in the cafe is a physical replica of a digital emoji symbol such as these 🍡🍩🍪🍬☕️🍴🍰👒🈺. It tells the story of an alternate future where every word and object is limited to emoji symbols. Influenced by the principle of linguistic relativity, it suggests that homogenising our language in this way would also narrow our minds and culture.
